If you have not registered in the app, the stamps collected up to that point will be irrevocably lost. No and Yes! Basically, smoking is not allowed in our rooms. We have a cozy smokers' lounge with leather sofas and a flat-screen TV. There - very close to the bar - the smokers make themselves comfortable. Smoking in all areas (in Essen also on the terrace and in the garden) is not permitted by law. A fire alarm system connected to the fire brigade control center is installed in Frankfurt. If the alarm is triggered, the fire brigade will definitely come and there will be costs of around €750, which we will ask the person who caused the damage to be reimbursed.

Basically, this is not permitted without our written permission. We only give such permission to our craftsmen or suppliers outside opening hours for their professional purposes. (E.g. the cigarette man has to explain how he filled the machine. Therefore, after he has filled the machine, he takes a picture of it). All other recordings (also with the mobile phone) are prohibited and we demand - for the protection of our guests - an immediate deletion of all recordings.

Basically yes. In Frankfurt everything is on one level and there are no stairs. In the entrance area there is a step with a ramp. If you need help opening the door, just give us a call (069 - 175 09 115), we're happy to help. In Essen, the sauna area is spread over 3 levels. Unfortunately, all levels - including the entrance and the garden - can only be reached via stairs. A barrier-free conversion is planned in the long term. The toilet in both saunas is not wheelchair accessible.

Because of the high-quality sheet steel cabinets, there are no lockers in the Metropol sauna, and we do everything we can to prevent theft.Keys that were carelessly left lying around occasionally led to objects being lost. The camera data can be used to clarify what happened.The cameras give the staff a good overview of what's going on (cashier can see you want to order something at the bar) and this helps us to respond faster and better to your needs.The data is stored in encrypted form for a few days and is never passed on to private individuals (including those affected). The staff has no access to the externally stored recordings. Only investigating authorities are granted access upon request.

No, on the contrary. Our drink prices are mostly in the lower segment. Because thirst can be high in a sauna, we usually serve drinks in large glasses. After sweating you should drink a lot and we don't want to hinder that with high prices.
